How it works

We compute double-SHA256 and compare as big-endian integer against the target.
If there is a network best, we only accept hashes that beat it and are still ≤ target.
“Local Best” updates live and helps you see progress even if not yet valid for submission.
When time runs out, mining pauses and we watch for finalization/new block.
